Math Learning Activities for my three years old
Learning to compare: First you have to collect bottles of several heights, and let the children work in group to arrange them from smallest to largest. Children always learn in a better way when they are involved in performing things practically. Things like addition, subtraction, and division become much easier for them. For teaching them math concepts you can use their toys, blocks, or anything that you thing can engage the child’s interest. This way your child would also learn about quantity and different sizes. Learning the written form of Numbers: It is not so complicated to teach your child about numbers. Through carrying out simple activities your child would be able to learn numbers very easily. Take a colorful paper and trace the number that you want to teach your child. After tracing the number, cut it out into 2 or 3 pieces to form a simple puzzle. Ask your child to fit the pieces and glue them on a white sheet of paper to form the number. Using this activity you can teach your child numbers from 0-9. INSTRUCTIONS: Do not cut the number into many pieces else your child would get confused. Cut each number into different colors to make it interesting for your child.
